Many of the fossils of vertebrates including Land mammals and dinosaurs have been found in Kutch but fossils of marine vertebrates are hardly identified. Specimen of eggs of the crocodilian vertebrate of the marine fossil layers of BLACK Hills of Kutch has been misidentified as Dinosaur egg. As that are has no dinosaurs fossils found.

Area of the RANN of the Kutch Known dinosaurs' fossil is under the Military and BSF protection from such traders and vandals but following area needs the further protection as reserved fossil land. Land area is about 170Mn years Old and close by the KAURBET area where Dr Biswas has visited in kaurbet area for ONGC drilling and discovered specimens of 170Mn years Old dinosaur’s fossils. But none of specimens are in KUTCH.

Area of the Deccan trap area near ANJAR - Kutch Anjar Deccan trap fossil not made public and not traceable – need to keep fossils in Kutch Museums.

Deccan trap area near Asambia, Excavated for Dinosaur head in last century but No trace of specimen, might have exported during that time.

But the richest area of Dinosaurs is Cheriabet North of Khadir in the Great RANN of KUTCH is still unexplored. So plan has been made in April 2013 to explore the area in the Great Rann of KUTCH north of the KHADIR. Most of the residents are unaware of the area as the area has difficult approach and as north Hill side of Hadambhadang 900Ft is collapsed on Northeren Rann side.

A science group expedition team is prepared with students and plan is prepared to explore area and record all findings and recording all specimens. Samples will be kept in Museum for the further study.

2 day tracking rout for expedition is prepared and picture library is kept on site to compare with other dinosaurs species.

Pictures and recording will be stored by Dr Bhudia, In Science Group Geology Library. And also will be discussed with world palaeontologist on group site all geologists and Palaeontologists are welcome to join and contact us as early as possible.

From yours Dr. BHUDIA Science Group Of INDIA
President:'Kutch Science Foundation'.
Founder :'Kutch Amateurs Astronomers Club - Bhuj - Kutch'.
Life Member:'kutch Itihaas Parishad'.
in.groups.yahoo.com/group/scienceclubofindia
in.groups.yahoo.com/group/kutchscience
in.groups.yahoo.com/group/kachchh
Do visit our ABOVE Clubs/Groups of Science Groups of India.

Ref: 2006, Vol. 80/1, p. 34–51, 31-03-2006 0031–0220/06/0080– 0034

Oldest camarasauromorph sauropod (Dinosaur) in the Middle Jurassic (Bajocian) of the Khadir Island, Kachchh, Nine bones from the Bajocian of the Khadir Island are all assignable to sauropods or dinosaurs at least. three of them can be compared to certain sauropod genera more closely.
